The Colorado Rapids completed their 2009 preseason schedule with a 1-0 victory Thursday night over the Seattle Sounders FC at Qwest Field.This was the Rapids' third consecutive win and third straight victory over an MLS club this preseason. Colorado close out preseason play with a
5-2-0 record.
Conor Casey scored the game’s only goal in the 38th minute off a penalty kick following a foul on Colin Clark in the box.
The Rapids return to Colorado tomorrow to begin preparations for their 2009 regular season opener on Saturday, March 21 against Chivas USA at The Home Depot Center.
