VIDEO: Thompson, Smith on Open Cup Play-In Victory
The Colorado Rapids defeated the Kansas City Wizards 2-1 on Tuesday in a Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup play-in game. Wells Thompson scored both goals for the Rapids, one in the 24th and one in the 80th, to help Colorado advance to the next phase of qualifying for the 96 year-old tournament.
