And the Rapids take...

With the 28th selection in the 2009 MLS SuperDraft the Colorado Rapids picked forward Kwame Adjeman-Pamboe (5-8, 155) from George Mason University.

"I saw him at the combine and was very impressed," said Head Coach Gary Smith. "He is a very explosive and creative individual. He will add some much needed energy and creativity to the team."

In two years at GMU, Kwame scored 11 goals and added 7 assists in 38 games with 20 starts. He was First-Team CAA, as well as First-Team All-Region.
Kwame orginally attended St. Francis (PA) where he was the school's Most Improved Player and won back-to-back NEC Rookie of the Week honors.
