Rapids players, coaching staff, and team personnel met at Dick's Sporting Goods Park this morning, finished packing their bags, loaded the bus, and left for the airport. For the third time in the last four years, the Rapids’ preseason plans include a trip over 4,600 miles away to London, England.The team is on their way for a week of training at the grounds of partner club and perennial English Premier League contender Arsenal Football Club. The Rapids’ England trip will run from March 7-14 and will include matches against the Arsenal Reserves on Tuesday and fellow Major League Soccer side the San Jose Earthquakes on Friday.
