Colorado Rapids forward Omar Cummings has been called up by the Jamaican National Team for their international friendly against World Cup hosts South Africa in Bloemfontein on November 17.Omar will join the team in Jamaica this weekend, ahead of a few days of training before traveling to South Africa for the match.
Roundtrip, he should travel over 19,000 miles for this one game.
The Bodles Crescent, Jamaica native has nine career caps with the Reggae Boyz after making his international debut in July of 2008.
Omar has scored two goals in international competition, including Jamaica'a only goal in a 1-0 win over El Salvador on July 10, 2009 in the CONCACAF Gold Cup.
