Virginia Take 2009 College Cup on PK's
Virginia topped Akron in penalty kicks to win the 2009 NCAA Men's College Cup over the weekend. For the match recap, click here.
The second-seeded Cavaliers (19-3-3) claimed their sixth College Cup championship, and first since they won four national titles in a row from 1991-94.
For those of you keeping score at home by following Paul Bravo's 2009 College Cup previews, although he missed on predicting the runners-up, Bravo did correctly predict Virginia would take the crown in his last blog entry before the weekend.
