With the 37th pick in the third round, Colorado selected Steward Ceus (6-6, 205). Ceus was NSCAA/adidas DI All-American team, All-Northeast Region first team and American East Goalkeeper of the Year, American East All-Conference team and National team of the Week member. He was also a three-time Amercian East All-Academic Team selection (2006, 2007, 2008) and two-time American East Player of the Week.
In Gary's words: "He fits the profile of the goalkeeper we are looking for: big, strong and athletic. He has plenty of potential and there is a lot to work with. He showed up well in the combine and I think it is a wonderful pick for the future of the club."
